Meet the founder
From Trinidad to Zanzibar—and into a wellness mission.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Shenice Morris moved to the United States with her family and later earned a degree in public health. Her background shaped a deep interest in mindful nutrition, preventative wellness, and helping people take a more active role in their health.
During a 2022 trip to Zanzibar in East Africa, Shenice met a woman who specialized in exporting sea moss and related products. She learned about sea moss firsthand, brought some home to share, and discovered an enthusiastic response from her community. That experience became the foundation for Feed the Sol.
Today, Shenice offers the rich purple sea moss that first inspired the business, alongside capsules, herbal powders, sea moss oil, and African black soap.
